| Святкування Дня Європи в Україні відбудеться з 9 по 15 травня День Європи в Україні – щорічне свято, яке символізує стратегічний вектор розвитку українського суспільства. Відзначається з 2003 року у третю суботу травня за підтримки Представництва ЄС в Україні. Зазвичай у цей день відбуваються святкові заходи у великих містах України. Гості можуть дізнатися про культуру, традиції та цінності європейських країн, взяти участь у культурних подіях та розвагах. До заходів долучаються представники посольств, міської влади Києва та інші поважні гості. Через карантинні обмеження цього року активності до Дня Європи будуть відбуватися переважно онлайн. Святкування розпочнеться 9 травня на сторінці Представництва ЄС у Facebook. Саме тут з 9 по 15 травня о 10:00 буде проходити шоу «Доброго європейського ранку, Україно!». Гостями заходу у різні дні стануть: посол ЄС в Україні Матті Маасікас, Глава Постійного представництва Європейського інвестиційного банку Жан-Ерік де Загон, переможець 11-го сезону «Голос Країни» Сергій Лазановський та інші. Ведучі шоу – Володимир Остапчук та Ніка Константинова. «Традиція святкувати Дні Європи в Україні триває вже 18 років. Це свідчить, що суспільство дійсно зацікавлене дізнаватися більше про культуру та цінності європейських країн. Щоразу до заходів долучається велика кількість охочих, навіть зараз, коли вже вдруге ми змушені проводити більшість активностей онлайн. Це дуже надихає», – відзначають у Представництві ЄС. Також, у рамках святкування Дня Європи з 7 по 13 червня пройде безкоштовний онлайн-фестиваль європейського кіно EUFF 2021. У програмі – вісім фільмів, які стали учасниками всесвітньо відомих кінофестивалів у Каннах, Торонто, Гетеборзі, американського фестивалю незалежного кіно Sundance і багатьох інших. Показ кінострічок буде відбуватися мовою оригіналу з українськими субтитрами. Крім основної програми, глядачам буде доступна добірка з восьми короткометражних фільмів про зміну клімату та проблеми навколишнього середовища. Since 2003, it has been celebrated on the third Saturday of May with the support of the EU Delegation to Ukraine. Festivities are usually held in Ukraine's major cities on this day. Guests can learn about the culture, traditions and values of European countries, as well as take part in cultural and entertainment events. Representatives of embassies, Kyiv city authorities and other distinguished guests partake in festivities, too. This year, due to quarantine restrictions Europe Day activities will be mostly held online. The celebration will start on May 9th on the EU Delegation's page on Facebook. The show "Good European Morning, Ukraine!" will be broadcasted on it from May 9th to 15th at 10:00 a.m. The event's guests across the days of celebration will include Matti Maasikas, Ambassador of the EU to Ukraine, Jean-Erik de Zagon, Head of the EIB Resident Representation for Ukraine, Serhiy Lazanovskyi, the winner of the 11th season of "The Voice" and others. The show will be hosted by Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Nika Konstantynova. "The tradition to celebrate Europe Day in Ukraine has been around for 18 years. This testifies that Ukraine's society indeed is interested in learning more about the culture and values of European countries. Each year events are attended by a great number of visitors. This remains true now, when for the second time in a row we have to conduct most activities online. This is very inspiring," representatives of the EU Delegation underline. Europe Day celebrations will also include a free online festival of European cinema EUFF 2021 that will be held on June 7th to 13th. Its programme comprises eight movies that participated in world-famous film festivals in Cannes, Toronto, Gothenburg, the American independent Film Festival Sundance and many others. The movies will be screened in original languages with Ukrainian subtitles. In addition to the main programme, viewers will have access to a selection of eight short films about climate change and environmental issues.
