Миколаїв Захід організовано командою Team Europe Mykolaiv за підтримки Представництва ЄС в Україні в рамках Європейських морських днів 2021. Метою круглого столу є об'єднання та консолідація зусиль та спільних дій ключових гравців ринку, центральних та місцевих органів влади з метою підтримки розвитку морської галузі України, а також активізації діяльності України в Європейській морській спільноті. Завдання круглого столу - підняти питання розвитку морської галузі та її значення у розвитку стійкої економіки, підтримати стратегічний сектор регіонального економічного розвитку, об'єднати та консолідувати зусилля та спільні дії учасників регіональної спільноти морської галузі. Під час заходу будуть розглянуті ключові тенденції ринку, політика та кращі практики Європейського Союзу, пов'язані зі стійким розвитком кластерів. Проведення заходу дасть можливість визначити основні пріоритети та заходи щодо подальшого розвитку галузі як на національному, так і на міжнародному рівнях, а також обговорити питання співпраці всередині, інтеграцію в глобальні ланцюги доданої вартості та стійкі інновації як її основні передумови. В рамках круглого столу також планується обговорення перспектив кластерної діяльності, економічні драйвери морського кластера, технологічні та наукові результати, перспективи розробки нових технологій для промисловості, залучення великих технологічних компаній та підключення місцевих компаній до систем цінностей європейської морської спільноти. У рамках зустрічі планується кілька напрямів обговорення: Міжнародна співпраця з метою взаємовигідного партнерства та розвитку морської галузі.
