У Донецькому національному технічному університеті (ДонНТУ), що тимчасово розташований у м. Покровськ, розпочато міжнародний проєкт «Енергоефективний цифровий університет для промоції технічних інновацій» (EDUTIP), що фінансується Європейським Союзом. Його мета – провести заходи з енергоефективної модернізації, цифровізації та впровадження технічних інновацій.

«Подолання наслідків конфлікту на сході та підтримка внутрішньо переміщених осіб залишається першочерговим завданням у роботі ЄС в Україні. Допомога переміщеним університетам на підконтрольних уряду територіях Донецької та Луганської областей сприятиме соціально-економічному відновленню регіону», - зазначив керівник відділу «Місцевий та людський розвиток» Представництва ЄС в Україні Фредерік Куне.

Проєкт триватиме з 2019 по 2021 рр. Загальна сума проєкту: 899 283 євро, у тому числі співфінансування від університету – 90 000 євро. Партнером в реалізації проєкту виступає Покровська міська рада.

Проєкт передбачає:

1. Капітальний ремонт та енергомодернізацію навчальних корпусів 1, 3 і гуртожитку №2 включно з енергоаудитом, утепленням фасаду та заміною покрівлі та вікон, установкою сонячних колекторів і батарей, а також капітальний ремонт великої спортивної зали.

2. Модернізацію та створення навчальних і наукових лабораторій університету з інформаційних технологій, мехатроніки та робототехніки, екології та гірництва.

3. Створення Центру інновацій як відкритої платформи взаємодії університету та місцевої громади з розвитком його складових: Центру кар'єри, стартап-клубу "YEP! DonNTU" та акселератора молодіжних інноваційних проектів.

4. Розвиток студентського самоврядування та підтримка студентських спортивно-мистецьких клубів, організація тренінгів та обмінних поїздок, розвиток молодіжного підприємництва.

Внаслідок реалізації проєкту університет набуде статусу регіонального центру технічних і соціальних інновацій. Це сприятиме підвищенню здатності місцевих підприємств і їхніх працівників, зокрема випускників ДонНТУ, розробляти та використовувати інноваційні рішення, а також посиленню зацікавленості місцевої молоді у технічній освіті. Розвиток студентського самоврядування посилить впевненість і громадську активність студентів, особливо з числа тимчасово переміщених осіб.

Довідкова інформація:

У жовтні 2014 року через збройний конфлікт на сході України Донецький національний технічний університет було переміщено до м. Покровськ Донецької області. Наприкінці 2019 року керівник відділу «Місцевий та людський розвиток» Представництва ЄС в Україні. Фредерік Куне та ректор ДонНТУ Ярослав Ляшок підписали договір, чим дали поштовх активній фазі реалізації проекту. Загалом, ЄС профінансує 9 проєктів з підтримки переміщених вищих навчальних закладів на підконтрольних уряду територіях Донецької та Луганської областей на загальну суму 10 млн євро.

EU allocates EUR 809,000 for development of relocated Donetsk National Technical University

Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU), which is temporarily located in Pokrovsk, has launched an international project called the "Energy Efficient Digital University for the Promotion of Technical Innovations" (EDUTIP) funded by the European Union. Its purpose is to undertake energy-efficient modernization, digitalization and implementation of technical innovations.

"Overcoming the negative consequences of the armed conflict in the east of Ukraine and supporting the internally displaced persons is a high priority for the EU's activities in Ukraine. The support provided for the relocated universities in the government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will contribute to the socio-economic recovery of the regions," Head of the Operations Section "Local and Human Development" Department of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Frederik Coene said.

The project's duration is from 2019 to 2021. The total budget of the project is EUR 899,283, including co-financing of EUR 90,000 from DonNTU. Pokrovsk City Council is a partner in the project implementation.

In particular, during the project implementation, it is planned to undertake:

1. Extensive renovations of the university buildings №1, №3 and dormitory №2 including the energy audit, facade insulation, replacement of the roof and windows and the installation of solar collectors and batteries, as well as extensive renovations of the big gym.

2. The modernization and setting-up of educational and scientific laboratories in information technology, mechatronics, robotics, ecology and mining.

3. Establishing the Innovation Center as an open platform for interaction between the university and the local community as well as developing the Career Center, the startup club "YEP! DonNTU" and the accelerator of innovative youth projects.

4. Developing the student council and supporting the student sports and art clubs, arranging training and exchange trips, developing youth entrepreneurship.

As a result of the project, the university will acquire the true status of a regional center of technical and social innovations. This will help improve the ability of the local businesses and their employees (the DonNTU graduates in particular) to develop and use innovative solutions, as well as generating the interest of the local youth in technical education. Developing the student council will increase the confidence and social activity of the students, especially among those temporarily displaced due to the armed conflict in Donbas.

Background information:

In October 2014, due to the armed conflict in the east of Ukraine, Donetsk National Technical University was relocated to Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. At the end of 2019, Head of the Operations Section "Local and Human Development" of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Frederik Coene and Rector of DonNTU Yaroslav Lyashok signed an agreement which finalized the start of the active phase of the project. In total, the EU will fund nine projects to support the relocated higher education institutions in the government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the total value of which is EUR 10 mln.
