| 14 вересня 2019 року у місті Коростень Житомирської області у партнерстві з Представництвом ЄС в Україні відбудеться смачний та яскравий Derun Fest. Фестиваль дерунів поєднує у собі колорит і традиції, міжнародну масштабність і домашню атмосферу, рекорди, «фішки». Це свято живої української культури під відкритим небом. На гостей чекає величезна фуд-зона, неймовірна кількість смаколиків, музика, пісні, розваги та веселощі, виставки-продажі, майстер-класи, конкурси, сюрпризи, незвичайні гості, призи та цінні подарунки. Також під час фестивалю відвідувачі оберуть найбільший і найоригінальніший овоч і фрукт Коростенщини, кращий національний костюм, найцікавішу презентацію дерунів, найсмачніший дерун та багато іншого. The festival of Deruni (potato pancakes) combines the atmosphere and traditions, global scale and homeliness, records and specific features. It's an open-air holiday of live Ukrainian culture. Guests will enjoy a vast food area and numerous delicacies. Entertainments will include music, songs, amusements, selling exhibitions, workshops, contests, surprises, special guests, as well as prizes and valuable gifts. Many contests will be held at the fest, including the contests of the biggest and most original fruit and vegetable of Korosten district, the best national clothes, the most exciting presentation of Deruni, the tastiest Derun, etc. Representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine: "The European Union unites many different cultures with various traditions and food preferences. We are glad to support this unique event dedicated to one of the most popular dishes of the Ukrainian national cuisine. We support the diversity of cultural traditions, which is a key European value." An EU Creative Zone will be opened at the Derun Fest.
