| Цілий тиждень поціновувачі мистецтва можуть насолоджуватися фестивалем "Мельпомена Таврії 2019" у Херсоні, який стартував 17 травня та пройде до 25 травня включно і відбувається за підтримки Представництва Європейського Союзу в Україні. Кожного року фестиваль по всьому місту проводить багато різних активностей: тематичні конференції, вуличні карнавали, гала-концерти, виступи театральних колективів з усієї України та інших країн тощо. Цього року міжнародна театральна сцена представлена колективами з країн, як-от Румунія, Вірменія, Польща, Угорщина. На фестивалі за підтримки Представництва Європейського Союзу в Україні представлено Креативну територію ЄС, де кожен бажаючий може дізнатися більше про ЄС, європейські цінності та культуру, насолодитися відпочинком у зірковому наметі на м'яких пуфах. Також гості фестивалю зможуть зробити селфі в спеціальній фотозоні та взяти участь у інших творчих активностях для дітей. "Кожен має свою історію: цей фестиваль, Україна, ЄС та співпраця між нами. І якщо дивитися глибше та ширше, можна побачити спільні культурні цінності між Україною та європейськими країнами. Все це знаходить своє відображення у фестивалі "Мельпомена Таврії", коли на одній сцені можна побачити колективи з різних куточків України та Європи. Саме цінність об'єднання заради спільної мети і об'єднує таких різних людей різних національностей. Це імпонує нашим цінностям. Креативна територія ЄС діятиме з 23 по 25 травня у Потьомкінському сквері.
