30-31 жовтня в Києві відбулась зустріч лідерів євроклубів України 30-31 жовтня 2014 року Представництво Європейського Союзу в Україні організувало в Києві зустріч для лідерів євроклубів. Протягом дводенного візиту керівники найактивніших євроклубів з різних регіонів України зустрілись, щоб обмінятись досвідом, ідеями, презентувати результати своєї діяльності та познайомитися з новими колегами. 30 жовтня лідери євроклубів відвідали офіс Представництва ЄС в Україні, де поспілкувались з Юргісом Вілчінскасом, Керівником відділу преси та інформації, та Вікторією Давидовою, Радником з питань преси та інформації Представництва ЄС. Під час візиту керівники євроклубів розповіли про діяльність своїх клубів, пріоритетні напрямки розвитку, нові ідеї для заходів та вже реалізовані проекти. Також учасники обговорили варіанти подальшої співпраці і познайомилися з новими інформаційними матеріалами на тему ЄС. З 1995 року Представництво ЄС підтримує рух євроклубів в Україні та надає всебічну інформаційну підтримку - літературу, бази даних, організовує поїздки до Європи, інформаційні семінари та щорічні зустрічі. "Українські євроклуби виступають основним джерелом Представництва ЄС у роботі з учнями, школярами та дітьми. І ми раді підтримувати діяльність осередків, які виховують молодих людей у дусі спільних європейських цінностей. Такі зустрічі найактивніших керівників регіональних євроклубів в Києві допомагають водночас і дізнатись про проблеми та роботу євроклубів по Україні, і приділити увагу максимальній кількості учасників", - зазначила Вікторія Давидова. У рамках візиту учасники зустрічі приєднались до проекту Школи європейських студії в Україні (EU Study Days) та прослухали лекцію на тему освітніх можливостей в Європі. Лектори, випускники програм Erasmus, College of Europe, CEU, розповіли про особливості навчання за кордоном, студентське самоврядування, процедури подачі заявок, терміни і форми участі в освітніх програмах, а також окреслили переваги міжнародних обмінів. Для керівників євроклубів це виявилась гарна нагода дізнатись більше актуальної інформації про навчання за кордоном, яку вони зможуть переказати учням та активістам у своїх містах. Також керівники євроклубів прослухали лекцію з фандрайзингу та дізнались про особливості пошуку фінансування для своїх проектів, ознайомились з конкретними донорськими фондами та програмами від Європейського Союзу, які можуть надати кошти для реалізації ідей та заходів євроклубів. 31 жовтня керівники євроклубів разом зі студентами EU Study Days взяли участь в інтелектуальній грі "Що? Де? Коли?". Каверзні запитання та завдання гри стосувалися історії Європейського Союзу, його ключових осіб, історичних, географічних, культурних та фінансових особливостей. Запропонований формат гри керівники євроклубів зможуть адаптувати у своїх подальших шкільних ініціативах. Завершилась зустріч лідерів Євроклубів екскурсією Києвом. Під час подорожі гості з різних міст України детальніше познайомились з містом, його історією та відвідали найвизначніші місця столиці. Дводенна зустріч відзначились насиченою і цікавою роботою, що була спрямована на налагодження тісної співпраці між євроклубами. Учасники неодноразово висловлювали свої думки щодо важливості таких зустрічей, під час яких вони можуть познайомитись з колегами з різних куточків України, запозичити їхній досвід у роботі з євроклубами, набути нові навички та знання для розвитку власного клубу. Проведені заходи відбулись в рамках інформаційної кампанії «Будуймо Європу в Україні». Це серія інформаційно-просвітницьких заходів (публічних заходів, вуличних акцій, семінарів, тренінгів, круглих столів), які Представництво ЄС в Україні проводить протягом року в різних містах України. Мета кампанії – пояснити важливість впровадження Угоди про асоціацію між Україною та ЄС, поширення європейських цінностей та підвищення рівня обізнаності українців щодо розвитку відносин між Україною та ЄС. Leaders of Ukrainian Euroclubs met in Kyiv on 30-31 October On 30-31 October 2014, the EU Delegation to Ukraine gathered leaders of Euroclubs for a meeting in Kyiv. During the two-day visit, the most active coordinators of Euroclubs from different regions of Ukraine met to exchange experiences, ideas and present the results of their on-site work. On 30 October, Euroclubs' leaders visited the office of the EU Delegation to Ukraine to communicate with Jurgis Vilcinskas, Head of Press and Information Section, and Victoria Davydova, Press and Information Officer of the EU Delegation. During the visit, leaders of Euroclubs presented activities of their clubs and informed about their priority development fields as well as implemented projects. The participants also discussed options for further cooperation and found out about the new EU information materials and publications. Since 1995, the EU Delegation has been supporting the network of Euroclubs in Ukraine and providing comprehensive information support – literature and information materials, access to databases, filed trips to Europe, informational seminars and annual meetings. "Ukrainian Euroclubs are the main contributors of the EU Delegation who help working with students, pupils and children. We are pleased to support the activities of raising young people in a spirit of common European values. Such meetings with the most active coordinators of regional European clubs in Kyiv at the same time help to learn about the problems and work of Euroclubs in Ukraine, and pay attention to the maximum number of participants," said Victoria Davydova. During the visit, participants joined EU Study Days project and listened to a lecture on educational opportunities in Europe. Lecturers, alumni of Erasmus, College of Europe, CEU, described the features of study abroad, student government, procedures for submitting applications, timing and form of participation in educational programs and benefits of international exchangeі. It was a good opportunity for coordinators of European clubs to know more about relevant study abroad programs, which they will be able to share with the students and activists in their home cities. Furthermore, leaders of European clubs had a training in fundraising and learned about the features of seeking financing for their projects. They found out about the donor funds and different programs of the European Union that can provide financial support in implementing ideas and initiatives of Euroclubs. On 31 October, coordinators of European clubs and students of EU Study Days took part in the intellectual game "What? Where? When?" Tricky questions and tasks of the game related to the history of the European Union, its key personalities, historical, geographical, cultural, and financial features. Coordinators of Euroclubs will be able to adapt the proposed format of the game to their future school initiatives. At the end of the meeting, leaders of Euroclubs took an excursion bus tour. During the overview sightseeing tour, guests from different cities of Ukraine acquainted with Kyiv, its history and visited the most prominent places of the capital. The two-day meeting with rich and interesting program was aimed at establishing close cooperation between the European Clubs. Participants expressed their views on the importance of such meetings, during which they can meet with the colleagues from different parts of Ukraine, borrow their experience in working with European clubs, to acquire new skills and knowledge to develop their own club. Meeting of Euroclubs' coordinators is a part of the information campaign "Building Europe in Ukraine", which the EU Delegation to Ukraine implements throughout the country. The campaign is a series of informational and educational events (public events, street actions, seminars, trainings, round tables) which the EU Delegation to Ukraine holds throughout the year in different cities of Ukraine. The goal of the campaign is to explain the importance of implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, promotion of European values and the enhancement of Ukrainians' knowledge concerning the development of EU-Ukraine relations. .
